What is Renasant Card App?

With Renasant Card App, you can control your debit cards, monitor spending, receive alerts and more.

How do I get the Card App?
  • First, you will need to be enrolled in online banking. If you have not yet enrolled, please visit https://www.renasantbank.com/digital-banking and click the Enroll in Online Banking button to get started.
  • Then, you will need to download the Renasant Bank mobile app from the Apple Store for iPhones or the Google Play Store for Android devices.
  • Next, sign into the Renasant Bank mobile app using your Renasant Online Banking username and password.
  • From the Accounts landing page in Mobile Banking, select the “Card App” button on the page.
  • Click the Download Renasant Card App button and follow the steps to download and install.
  • You can also refer to our https://renasantbank.com/digital-discovery website for Card App simulations on enrollment, as well as other useful processes.
The Card App link is not appearing in the mobile banking app:
  • Make sure both your phone’s operating system (OS) and the Renasant Mobile App are updated to their most recent versions. Once those are updated, then check for the Card App link within mobile banking. 
    • If the link is still not visible, force close the app, then remove the app and download it again. Once those steps are taken, then check for the Card App link within mobile banking.
  • Power you mobile phone off and back on. 
    • Check for Card App Link
  • Force close the app from background, then check again the following day for the Card App within mobile banking.
  • If issues persist, call customer support at 877-367-5371.
The Card App install is hung in a loop:

When you click on the Card App link within mobile banking and step through the process of downloading the app. The process then instructs you to sign in to the Renasant Mobile app, the Card App should launch and doesn’t. This leads you to click the Card App link again and takes you back through the same process.

  • Make sure both your phone’s operating system (OS) and the Renasant Mobile App are updated to their most recent versions. Once those are updated, then check for the Card App link within mobile banking.
  • Power you mobile phone off and back on. 
    • Check for Card App Link
  • If the Card App process is still in this loop, remove the Renasant Mobile App from your phone and re-install the app.
  • If the Card App still doesn’t install, force close the mobile app and try the next day after a nightly update.
  • If issues persist, call customer support at 877-367-5371.
Card Controls

Renasant Card App allows you to set controls for when, where, and how your card is used. Set location-based controls in-store or within a specified area on a map, or control spend by merchant category (dining, travel, etc.) or transaction type (in-store, online, mail order). Enabling location, merchant or transaction type controls will cause transactions to be denied for the specified category. When setting up controls, you will enable the type of control and then turn off any category that you do not want your debit card transaction to be approved.

  • On/Off – Lock card quickly and easily
  • Vicinity – Card only works when you are in the same location (based on mobile location)
  • Location – Card only works within specific regions chosen on a map
  • Spend Limit – Decline transaction over a specified amount
  • Monthly Limit – Decline transactions after monthly budget limit is reached
  • Merchant Category – Gas, groceries, travel, department stores, etc.
  • Transaction Type – Online, in-store, ATM, etc.
Card Alerts

    Set up real-time push notifications about when, where and how your debit card is used, whether the card is used in person or digitally. 

    • Location – Alert when transactions are made outside specific regions chosen on a map
    • Vicinity – Alert when you are not in the same location as merchant (based on mobile location)
    • Spend Limit – Alert when transaction over a specified amount
    • Monthly Limit – Alert if monthly budget limit is reached
    • Merchant Category – Gas, groceries, travel, department stores, etc.
    • Transaction Type – Online, in-store, ATM, etc.
Turn Debit Card On or Off

Turn your Renasant Debit card on or off easily and securely.1 Previously authorized recurring payments may still be approved or processed even if you turn your card off. While your card is off, all other transactions will be denied until the card is turned back on.

View Recurring payments and Card on File

Renasant Card App identifies monthly subscriptions, as well as card-on-file merchants such as online marketplaces or ridesharing companies.Card App allows you to keep track of where your card number is being stored. With monthly recurring charges, many people store their cards with online retailers to make checkout faster and easier. Card App recognizes recurring charges to help customers keep track of all of their debit card spending. If you lose or replace a card, you can quickly see what merchants you may need to update with your new card information.

Spend Insights

Easy access to Spend Insights on your debit card spending that helps you stay informed and in control.

See spending patterns by:

  • Merchant category (groceries, gas, etc.)
  • Purchase Channel (online vs. in-person)
  • Monthly trends
  • Location on a map
Reporting Card Lost or Stolen

Renasant Card App enables fast and easy self-service such as reporting your debit card lost or stolen. Once you report your card as lost or stolen, the card will no longer work and a new card will be ordered. The new card will arrive in the next 7-10 business days. The new card will automatically be loaded into your Card App and be ready to activate as soon as you receive your new card.

Manage Travel Plans

Card Activation

Your new Renasant Debit Card can be activated using the Card App. The new card will show in your Card App as soon as it is ordered but you will need the card expiration date to complete the activation. The expiration date can be retrieved from the new card when it arrives by mail.

Transaction Enrichment

Transaction Enrichment cleans up transaction and merchant data, allowing you to more easily recognize your purchases, including cleaned up merchant names, logos, and locations on a map.

Enriched Data Includes:

  • Accurate name
  • Merchant logo & branding
  • Interactive map of location
  • Address
  • Hours of operation
  • Contact info: phone number, email, website and URL
  • Merchant category (groceries, entertainment, etc.)
  • Correct purchase channel (in-store or online)
Mobile Wallet

Quickly and easily add your Renasant debit cards to Apple pay or Google pay using Card App.

  1. Turning off your card is not a replacement for reporting your card lost or stolen. Contact us immediately if you believe that unauthorized transactions have been made. Turning your card off will not stop card transactions presented as recurring transactions or the posting of refunds, reversals, or credit adjustments to your account. Turning off your card will not stop transactions using other cards linked to your deposit account. Availability may be affected by your mobile carrier’s coverage area. Your mobile carrier's messaging and data rates may apply.
